Amit Bhatt a Transport Planner from Delhi, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and a Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Economics. Over the last ten years he has worked in the field of Transport Planning, Public Transport System Planning, Capacity Building, and Urban Planning. His expertise is in development of urban transport projects through public private partnerships.

He worked at Urban Mass Transit Company / IL&FS Infrastructure for 3 years before moving to EMBARQ. He has managed multiple JnNURM funded projects including two bus rapid transport projects and five city bus service projects. He was also involved in development of urban bus specifications document for Indian cities.

He has worked on major urban transport and road safety projects including Comprehensive Traffic & Transportation Studies for Rajamundry, Guntur & Warrangal, National Road Safety Policy etc during his tenure with CRAPHTS Consultants and Span Consultants.
